Position Overview

As the Service and Parts Director at Ventura Toyota, you will oversee all aspects of the dealership’s Service and Parts Departments. You will be responsible for maximizing profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) standards.

This role requires an experienced leader with a proven record in automotive fixed operations management, strong financial acumen, and the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all Service and Parts Department operations to achieve sales, profit, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow service volume, parts sales, and retention.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial statements to ensure departmental profitability.
  • Manage inventory, pricing, and warranty processes in compliance with Toyota standards.
  • Drive exceptional Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) performance.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor managers and staff.
  • Maintain full compliance with Toyota, environmental, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive automotive fixed operations experience, including 5+ years in a senior or director-level role.
  • Proven success managing high-volume service and parts operations (Toyota experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Deep knowledge of Toyota systems and tools (Dealer Daily, TIS, TMS, TLE, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Automotive Management, or related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction simultaneously.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $174,000 – $240,000 per year (based on experience and performance)This range includes a guaranteed base salary and commission based on performance. This represents the pay scale the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position in California.
