Service and Repair Technician
POSITION:
The Service and Repair Technician is responsible for building, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of various sized trailers and equipment. The Tech is responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finish as well as the assembly and troubleshooting of hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems, using company and customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair of trailers and other equipment
- Read job orders, blueprints, and schematics in order to complete projects.
- Able to install a variety of complex systems, including hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Able to troubleshoot issues as they occur and communicate effectively with a variety of partners.
Qualifications
- Prior mechanical background required.
- Able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs without assistance and in a variety of positions.
- Ability to use tape measures and other measuring devices.
- Able to add, subtract, divide, and multiply.
