Job Summary

Smart Vet is seeking a skilled Biomedical Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair veterinary medical equipment. The role is critical to ensuring optimal equipment performance, customer satisfaction, and compliance with quality and safety standards across veterinary clinics and hospitals.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and validate veterinary medical equipment at customer sites
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on biomedical and diagnostic devices
• Diagnose hardware, software, and electrical/mechanical faults and implement effective solutions
• Provide technical support and training to veterinarians, technicians, and clinic staff
• Respond promptly to service calls and minimize equipment downtime
• Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance logs, and documentation
• Coordinate with sales and technical teams to support product demonstrations and upgrades
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Manage spare parts, tools, and service inventory efficiently

• Imaging systems (X-ray, ultrasound)
• Anesthesia machines and patient monitors
• Laboratory and diagnostic equipment
• Dental and surgical systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in medical or veterinary equipment service (veterinary preferred)
• Strong knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and basic IT/networking
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required
