Service Coordinator/Dispatcher

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Service Coordinator/Dispatcher to join our team! Duties

• Coordinate daily dispatching of service technicians and warehouse activity’s.
• Utilize GPS technology and GIS data to plan efficient routes, monitor vehicle locations, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Manage inbound and outbound shipments through shipping & receiving procedures, ensuring accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, vendors, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems while maintaining professional phone etiquette.
• Track freight movements, update transportation schedules, and troubleshoot issues related to fleet management or logistics disruptions.
• Support transportation planning by analyzing data related to supply chain flow, optimizing routes, and reducing delays.
• Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, shipment statuses, and service logs while adhering to data entry standards.
• Assist with freight claims or shipping discrepancies by coordinating with 3PL providers and internal departments.

Requirements

• Proven experience with transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or SyteLine.
• Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret GIS maps, GPS data, and transportation planning metrics.
• Excellent communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette for interacting with drivers, clients, and team members.
• Proficiency in data entry using AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems; familiarity with Freight & Logistics software is a plus.
• Ability to multitask efficiently using multi-line phone systems while maintaining accuracy in documentation.
• Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, fleet management practices, and supply chain logistics.
• Technical aptitude in using GPS devices, GIS mapping tools, and transportation planning software for route optimization.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in dispatching schedules, freight tracking, and data analysis.
