Service Dispatcher

The Service Dispatcher is responsible for scheduling and dispatching Service Technicians to appropriate customer locations and providing support to field employees, customers, and Supervisors/Managers. This is a Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm onsite role.

Essential Functions:

• Communicate effectively with Technicians, Field Staff, Supervisors, and homeowners.
• Create work orders including changes, additions, or updates.
• Routing/monitoring Technicians schedules to accommodate customer needs.
• Ensure jobs are set up accurately to include parts needed and any additional information to complete and close jobs.
• Work directly with Technicians with regards to repair needs and maintenance.
• Completing processes in a timely and professional manner.
• Attend and participate in employee meetings and trainings.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
• Document and update all customer records based on interactions.
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of evolving products and services.
• Maintain security of confidential customer information.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualification and Requirements:

• Previous experience in dispatch, sales, customer service, or other related fields.
• Ability to build rapport with technicians, Field staff, Supervisors, and homeowners.
• Manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.
• Proficient MS Office skills—Service titan is a plus.
• Must be deadline, goal, and detail oriented.
• Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Positive and professional demeanor.
• Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills.
• Adept at time management and finite deadlines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires interaction with people in an office environment. Work requires sitting, handling/grasping, and repetitive motions for long periods of time. Must be able to communicate over the phone, over email, and in person.
