Service Electrician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, sales acumen, and the ability to provide accurate quotes and invoices for services rendered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
• Perform full residential and commercial rewires and panel upgrades.
• Provide accurate and timely quotations for electrical work and upgrades.
• Generate invoices for completed jobs using company software or tools.
• Assist in identifying customer needs and offer appropriate solutions and upgrades (upselling when appropriate).
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Inspect electrical components for faults, defects, and compliance with safety codes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical systems and components.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently following company and OSHA regulations.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate service records.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other technicians on larger projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
