Service Engineer

Job Title: Fire alarm Service Engineer.

Location: Pune, Maharashtra

Role Objective

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient professional to oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of addressable fire detection, PA, and suppression systems. The ideal candidate will ensure maximum system uptime and safety compliance across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Supervision: Physically supervise the cleaning, testing, and maintenance of all types of detectors and push stations.
• System Integrity: Ensure detectors are placed in maintenance mode during cleaning to prevent false alarms; manage the isolation and reinstatement of the Fire Alarm System (FAS) as required.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and rectify faults within detection, alarm, communication, and Public Address (PA) systems.
• System Management: Perform recommissioning of FAS and Graphics systems; execute routine backups of centralized software and perform minor system modifications.
• Testing & Inspection: Supervise quarterly physical testing of the PA system and perform physical checks on all interlocks linked to the fire alarm system.
• Emergency & Suppression: Maintain and troubleshoot sprinkler and flooding systems.
• Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact and handle all responsibilities of the Fire Supervisor in their absence.

Candidate RequirementsEducation & Experience

• B.E. / B.Tech (Electrical or Instrumentation): 2 – 3 years of relevant experience.
• Diploma (Electrical or Instrumentation): 3 – 5 years of relevant experience.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

• In-depth knowledge of Addressable Fire Detection Systems.
• Hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of:
• Fire Alarm Systems (FAS)
• Public Address (PA) Systems
• Sprinkler Systems
• Flooding/Suppression Systems
• Familiarity with interlock logic and system graphics software.
