Role Summary

We are seeking a passionate and service-driven Service Leader to elevate the overall guest experience and lead front-of-house service excellence. This full-time, on-site role is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving service standards while managing and developing a multicultural service team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, standardize, and continuously improve service operations, including service flow and guest journey
  • Adapt and implement Japanese hospitality within the local cultural context
  • Monitor service quality through guest feedback, reviews, and on-site observations, driving continuous improvement
  • Deliver personalized service tailored to individual guest needs and preferences
  • Manage VIP and repeat guests, building strong and lasting relationships
  • Oversee complaint handling and service recovery processes to ensure high satisfaction
  • Lead, coach, and develop a multicultural service team
  • Design and implement training programs covering service standards, etiquette, and communication skills
  • Ensure adherence to service standards and manage team performance
  • Coordinate closely with the kitchen to ensure seamless service timing and quality
  • Support overall operational efficiency and workflow optimization
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director to implement improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of service experience in the food and beverage industry
  • Basic to intermediate English communication skills for guest interaction and internal coordination
  • Strong hospitality mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
Key Competencies
  • Experience in high-end restaurants, fine dining, or luxury hospitality environments
  • Experience in Japanese cuisine establishments or understanding of Japanese service culture
  • Prior experience in a leadership, supervisory, or training role
  • Experience working in multicultural or international environments
  • Strong passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences beyond routine service
  • Ability to balance attention to detail with a broader operational perspectiveProven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and implement improvements
  • Ability to embody and communicate Japanese aesthetics, etiquette, and hospitality standards
