Position Title: Service Now Architect

Location: Islamabad

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience Required: 7+ years (with 3+ years in ServiceNow Architecture)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to design, implement, and oversee scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned with enterprise IT and business goals. This role requires a strong technical foundation, strategic mindset, and the ability to collaborate across IT, business, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of ServiceNow modules and custom applications.
• Define and enforce platform governance, standards, and best practices.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Oversee integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems (e.g., Azure AD, Jira, Salesforce, etc.).
• Ensure platform scalability, performance, and security compliance.
• Provide technical leadership to developers and administrators.
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including data models, workflows, and API specifications.
• Evaluate new ServiceNow capabilities, plugins, and releases for business value.
• Support CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and GRC implementations and improvements.
• Guide end-to-end solution delivery, including testing and deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 7+ years of overall ServiceNow experience, including 3+ years in an architect or lead role.
• Expertise in ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, Discovery, or HRSD.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow data model, scripting (JavaScript, Glide), and integrations (REST, SOAP, API, MID Server).
• Experience designing solutions in multi-instance enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with Agile, ITIL, and DevOps methodologies.
• ServiceNow certifications preferred:
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
• Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – highly desirable

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven leadership in guiding cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for innovation and process improvement.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with AI Ops, Automation Engine, or ServiceNow Predictive Intelligence.
• Background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Prior consulting or client-facing experience.
