We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform to support IT Service Management (ITSM) and other enterprise workflows. The ideal candidate has hands on experience with scripting, integrations, and ServiceNow modules.
Responsibilities
- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications and modules (e.g., ITSM, CMDB, Incident, Change, Request, Problem).
- Design and implement solutions using Flow Designer, Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and other platform capabilities.
- Integrate ServiceNow with third party tools and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues and bugs in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Maintain proper documentation for developed solutions and platform configurations.
- Stay current on ServiceNow updates, new features, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2-5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML, CSS, and XML.
- Experience with ServiceNow modules like ITSM, CMDB, or other scoped applications.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required; additional certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, ITSM) a plus.
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) is a plus.
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with ServiceNow HRSD, CSM, or SecOps.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and practices.
- Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD pipelines with ServiceNow.
