Service Route Driver

Miller Portables in Dundee, OH is looking for one Service Route Driver to join our team.

**MUST have proven driving experience.

Position Summary:
As a Service Route Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Miller Portables’s portable restrooms are fully operable at all times, meeting the highest standards that Miller Portables customers have come to know. This position will primarily have weekly routes on the road servicing portable restrooms. In addition to safely and efficiently operating our fleet trucks and following all traffic laws, you will be expected to assist on the road and around the shop. This role requires attention to detail, adaptability, and dedication to Miller Portables’ core values: Safety, Integrity, Efficiency, Team Orientation, and Trust.

Responsibilities:

• Follow safe driving protocols.
• Cleaning service expectations.
• Responsible for reporting any issues with units or vehicle maintenance issues to the branch manager or scheduling coordinator.
• Maintain the vehicle’s cleanliness and keep it restocked with supplies.
• Deliver and transport portable restrooms.
• Must wear the required PPE for the specific job and task.
• Safely unload the unit.
• Replenish supplies and disinfect delivered units.
• Check for any damage, and inspect and troubleshoot the units.
• Handle general maintenance issues.

Required Qualifications/Skills and Abilities:

• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must have a valid Ohio Drivers License.
• Must be willing to pass a drug test.

Physical Requirements:

• Work long hours on the road, as most of the driver’s time will be spent on the road.
• Must be able to handle cold weather conditions and tolerate variable and sometimes extreme physical conditions during company equipment service or inspections.
• Ability to move 100lb using equipment.

Performance Standards:

• 60-day probationary evaluation.
• Performance assessment with manager to ensure employee’s work performance and ethics are aligned with the company’s Mission and Core Values.

Work Location: On the road/in-person

Work Hours: 6 am start Monday through Thursday with occasional weekends.

Average weekly hours: 40-50 hours and vary based on work load.
