Service Technician

Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for maintenance and a knack for solving problems? Perennial Properties is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join the team at one of our managed Intown properties. This is a key role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety in their workday, and takes pride in providing top-notch service to residents and team members.

What You’ll Do

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair.

• Respond promptly to resident service requests and ensure work is completed to the highest standards.

• Prepare apartments for new residents by completing make-ready repairs and upgrades.

• Assist with maintaining the overall appearance and condition of the community grounds, facilities, and amenities.

• Partner with the Community Director and Service Manager to prioritize daily work orders and special projects.

• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies.

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience in apartment maintenance or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.

• EPA certification preferred (Type I and II or Universal).

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Excellent customer service skills with a resident-first mindset.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various conditions (indoors/outdoors).
