Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.
• Diagnose faults accurately using diagnostic tools and techniques, then implement effective solutions promptly.
• Install new equipment or system upgrades as required, ensuring proper functioning before handover.
• Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, parts used, and time spent on each task.
• Provide technical advice and support to clients regarding system operation and maintenance procedures.
• Adhere to health and safety policies at all times to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.
• Assist in training clients or junior staff members on equipment use and basic troubleshooting techniques when necessary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in servicing technical equipment or systems; relevant certifications are advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks effectively.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
