The service technician will focus on providing site support to Anderson’s industrial processing equipment for oilseed milling, feed milling and synthetic rubber dewatering worldwide while supporting the growth of aftermarket parts and services.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide field service on Anderson equipment at customer locations worldwide.

Oversee and manage the installation and commissioning of new Anderson equipment at customer locations worldwide.
- Manage and grow Anderson’s in house repair business for domestic clients.

Trouble shoot both mechanical and electrical issues on Anderson supplied equipment.
- Compile, submit, and file site work reports for all site visits.

Work with sales to determine quoting opportunities as a result of service visits.

Develop work instructions to inspect, troubleshoot and repair equipment.

Provide training to customers regarding proper maintenance practices on Anderson supplied equipment.

Communicate opportunities for improvement such as equipment design or process design to engineering team.

Organize domestic and international travel per Anderson guidelines.
- Track and report travel expenses per Anderson policy.
Education:
Prior Experience/Skills:
- Must be willing and able to travel worldwide for extended periods of time and on short notice.

Ability to read and understand manufacturer’s drawings and manuals.

Good understanding of P&ID’s, plant layouts, PFD’s, electrical schematics, HAZOP and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn PLC controls. Ability to make changes to PLC programs in the field.

Basic mechanical knowledge of gearboxes and rotating equipment.

Ability to independently install, troubleshoot, and repair both mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment.

Ability to present a positive disposition and maintain constructive interpersonal relationships while under stress.

Remain flexible, open, and positive in the face of changing needs and customer demands.

Ability to assess surroundings for safety issues including familiarity with OSHA standards.

Must have good technical communication skills as well as interpersonal communication skills.
