Responsibilities Of The Service Technician

• Works towards guaranteeing ultimate customer service and satisfaction.
• Performs work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnoses the cause of any malfunction and performs repairs.
• Communicates with the parts department to obtain needed parts
• Performs multipoint inspection on assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
• Communicate with the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work is outlined as not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order. Clocks in and out on all jobs.
• Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.
  
  

Qualifications

Experience as a certified technician

Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment

Strong Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Deadline and detail-oriented

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Must be able to pass a Background check and Drug Screening
