Based out of our Mobile location and covering south Alabama, the Florida Panhandle, and surrounding areas, you'll specialize in the maintenance, repair, and installation of rotary screw and centrifugal air compressors, air dryers, and positive displacement blowers in a wide range of industrial environments. You'll have a company service truck, factory training support, and the full depth of one of the Southeast's most established distributors behind you.

What You'll Do

Field Service & Repair

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on rotary screw and centrifugal air compressors, air dryers, and positive displacement blowers at customer sites across south Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.
• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify root causes and implement effective, lasting solutions.
• Install and commission new equipment verifying optimal performance and full compliance with safety standards before leaving the job site.
• Manage and maintain your service truck, keeping it stocked with the tools, parts, and equipment needed to handle any call.

Customer Communication & Documentation

• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers about equipment status, maintenance needs, repair options, and recommended next steps.
• Maintain accurate records of all service activities parts used, work performed, and future service recommendations for every job.
• Build trust on every visit by showing up prepared, doing the job right, and following through on commitments.

Safety & Continuous Improvement

• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE in every industrial environment no exceptions.
• Stay current with industry advancements, OEM training, and best practices to continuously sharpen your technical skills.

What We're Looking For

Must Have:

• Hands-on experience servicing rotary screw and/or centrifugal air compressors, air dryers, or positive displacement blowers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proven problem-solving skills in the field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record this is a field role with regular travel to customer sites.
• Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and handle the physical demands of field work (climbing, bending, lifting heavy equipment).

Nice to Have:

• Factory training or certifications on brands such as Gardner Denver, Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand, Sullair, or similar.
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting on industrial equipment controls, starters, VFDs.
• Background servicing customers in manufacturing, petrochemical, municipal, or other heavy industrial environments.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and service contract management.
