Service Technician

<Job Summary>
Join our dynamic team as a Service Technician and become the driving force behind maintaining and repairing essential HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical systems. <Duties>

  • Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, refrigeration units, plumbing fixtures, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
  • Perform routine maintenance on boilers, air conditioning units, ammonia refrigeration systems, and other critical machinery to prevent downtime.
  • Install new HVAC/R equipment following detailed HVAC design plans and schematics.
  • Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot issues on-site, ensuring quick resolution of appliance repairs and property maintenance needs.
  • Use tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to test electrical circuits and perform repairs with precision.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, repairs performed, and parts used for each job.
  • Operate vehicle safely while transporting tools or equipment to various job sites.

<Skills>

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction environments or property maintenance.
  • Proven service technician experience with HVAC/R systems, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), plumbing, or appliance repair.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans effectively.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting electrical issues using tools like ohmmeters; familiar with welding techniques for equipment repair.
  • Knowledge of field service procedures for HVAC/R systems; comfortable working independently in diverse environments.
  • Familiarity with safety standards related to ammonia refrigeration, boiler operation, and general mechanical work.
  • Valid <PERSON> driver license with a clean driving record; ability to navigate multiple job sites efficiently. This energetic role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to apply their technical expertise in a fast-moving setting!

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
