
Essential Job Functions:
- Give customers recommendations on the best parts & equipment available with which their needs can be addressed.
- Diagnose errors or service problems to determine proper solutions.
- Repair/replace faulty parts & equipment in area facilities.
- Cooperate and communicate with service team and share information across the organization.
- Ability to use tools associated with the repair of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of parts and equipment used in modern hog facilities.
- Prior experience working with the systems found in modern facilities (ventilation, feeding/watering, heating) is preferred, but willing to train.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High level of customer service focus.
- Ability to operate and understand mobile equipment. Possess mechanical skills to perform maintenance tasks.
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment, attention to unloading / loading trucks and moving equipment.
- Supports a consistent professional image of the company.
- Observes safety policy and procedure.
- Positive Attitude and reacts calmly under pressure.
- Commitment to dependability and willingness to work to meet goals and deadlines.
- Prefer experience in field service, animal husbandry or related field.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Approved safe driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand, sit, crawl, climb, and reach difficult areas as job demands.
- Ability to work in outdoor elements.
- Ability to Occasionally works around livestock.
