Service Technician

Formax is currently hiring a full-time Service Technician based in Dover, NH.

This role involves providing technical support via phone/email/video to our resellers for a select group of Formax brand equipment. We are willing to provide on-the-job training for candidates who possess the basic skill set listed below.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and assistance to resellers regarding Formax brand equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues over the phone.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
• Independently manage and prioritize service requests and support tickets.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Travel to client sites at least once per quarter for equipment installation and training sessions.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Mechanical and electrical experience is required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone etiquette.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proven customer service skills with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client visits (valid driver’s license required).
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in email and Microsoft Office applications, remote assistance applications…etc..

Job Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM
