Service Technician - Tier 1

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on refrigeration systems to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively.
  • Repairs: Perform assigned work tickets, this includes diagnosing issues, replacing parts, and performing system upgrades.
  • Emergency Response: This job requires full commitment to respond to clients at all hours and often requires long hours. It requires advanced problem-solving skills to troubleshoot all facets of a refrigeration system, including equipment, valves, wiring and control systems.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including maintenance schedules, repair logs, and parts inventories.
  • Client Training: Offer training and support to clients to ensure they understand how to operate and maintain their Clauger systems.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to clients and peers regarding the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Have specific knowledge of Clauger equipment.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest developments in Clauger technology and industry best practices to continually improve service quality and efficiency.
  • Respond to emergency calls.
  • Ability to work unsupervised or with limited instruction.
  • Maintain and manage truck inventory and / or job toolboxes in an accurate, neat, and orderly manner as well as adhere to vehicle maintenance program guidelines.
