We are seeking an experienced AI Software Engineer to design, build, and deploy Generative AI solutions on the ServiceNow platform – our Customer Success Platform. In this role, you will partner with product owners, platform teams, and process stakeholders to translate real operational needs into reliable, secure, and measurable AI capabilities—spanning Now Assist skills, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic workflows.
You will own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle: discovery and solution design; implementation and integration across ServiceNow workspaces, portals, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub; evaluation and tuning; and production hardening with guardrails, observability, and cost/latency controls. You will also contribute to reusable patterns and reference architectures (including MCP servers and connectors) that expose ServiceNow data and actions to external AI models while meeting enterprise security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
Success in this role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, a pragmatic approach to experimentation, and the ability to communicate tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will help establish best practices for responsible AI adoption on the platform and mentor others through code reviews, design reviews, and knowledge sharing.
