ServiceNow Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow Service Portal, ITSM, ITOM, and troubleshooting complex issues. You will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and supporting ServiceNow solutions across multiple domains while ensuring high performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Service Portal applications, widgets, and UI enhancements.
• Implement and configure ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM modules, ensuring seamless service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis on pattern discovery issues in Cloud, Pattern, and Network Discovery.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems and applications using REST/SOAP APIs and other protocols.
• Develop and customize workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies to automate processes and improve user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices.
• Ensure data integrity, security compliance, and adherence to governance standards.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members and participate in code reviews.
• Stay up to date with ServiceNow releases, features, and industry trends to recommend improvements.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Service Portal, ITSM, and ITOM.
• Experience in Cloud, Pattern, and Network Discovery, and troubleshooting pattern issues.
• Proven ability to integrate ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
• Excellent coding skills using JavaScript, Glide API, and other ServiceNow development tools.
• Experience in building workflows, automation, and process optimization.
• Understanding of data integrity, security, and governance best practices.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
• Hands-on experience in Service Portal development, ITSM/ITOM configuration, and discovery troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with integrations and secure API communication.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• ServiceNow certifications (CIS – ITSM, Discovery, or others) are a plus.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹110,000.00 per month
