Role Overview:
As a Services Manager in our Children’s Residential program, you will lead a team of Children’s Support Professionals who provide 24/7 care and advocacy to youth with I/DD. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the residential home, ensuring high-quality and person-centered services, and supporting staff in delivering compassionate, skilled support in areas such as personal care, emotional and behavioral health, and life skills development. This is a hands-on leadership role that involves collaboration with families, guardians, and community partners to ensure children thrive in supportive and inclusive environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to a team of Children’s Support Professionals

  • Oversee daily operations of children’s residential homes
  • Foster safe, stable, and empowering environments for youth with I/DD
  • Support staff in delivering assistance with skill building, personal care, emotional regulation, and behavioral health
  • Monitor and implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) tailored to each child and ensure the delivery of high-quality, individualized support services
  • Partner with families, case management, and stakeholders to coordinate care and services
  • Maintain compliance in record keeping and staffing level
  • Provide off-site on-call support to manage staff call-outs and emergency situations
  • This position involved 50/50 direct care and administrative duties

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of people management experience

  • 2 years of experience working in human services, ideally with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (experience with children or youth strongly preferred)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and advocacy
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of person-centered planning and behavioral support principles is preferred
  • Licensed driver with a clean driving record and willingness to drive children to appointments and activities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
