ServiceTeam Leader

The Service team Leader is responsible for the overall performance of the service department, including profitability, productivity, customer satisfaction, and team leadership. This role drives operational excellence by managing people, processes, and workflow to ensure efficient, high-quality repairs and a safe work environment.

  • Lead and manage Shop Foreman, Team Leaders, Service Advisors, and Technicians
  • Set clear expectations and hold team accountable for performance
  • Foster a high-performance, “Team of 1” ownership culture
  • Oversee daily shop operations and workflow
  • Handle disciplinary actions and employee relations
  • Own and drive department profitability
  • Develop and execute plans to hit monthly and annual targets
  • Be visible and engaged on the shop floor daily
  • Drive continuous improvement in people and processes
  • Build a culture of discipline, safety, and results

Enforce all safety policies and procedures

  • 7+ years experience in heavy-duty truck/trailer service
  • 3+ years in a leadership/management role
  • Strong financial and operational understanding
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive results
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in shop management systems
  • Take full ownership of department performance
  • Lead with urgency and accountability
