Setup Mechanic
Location: Catoosa, Oklahoma
NGSG has immediate openings for an experienced Setup Mechanic (training available for mechanically inclined applicants). Position requires layout of equipment on a skid and alignment of rotating equipment. Should be familiar with setting heavy equipment (up to 25,000lbs), coupling alignments using dial indicators or laser alignment tools, and adjusting for soft foot. Millwright and/or compressor packaging a plus. Be able to read layout prints to set equipment in location and align. Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience and have the needed tools for the job.


Interview must be scheduled.

Hours: 40 - 50 Per Week
No per diem is offered.

Experience level: 3 years
Shift: 10-hour day shift
Weekly day range: Monday to Friday

Work setting: Fabrication Shop

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
  • Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs, and full body movement (e.g., climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching).
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are required to safely operate welding equipment and hand tools.
  • Visual acuity is necessary to read blueprints, measure components, and inspect welds for quality and accuracy.
  • Must be able to tolerate exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise, and
fabrication shop conditions.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including welding
hood, gloves, steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection
