Sever/Bartender

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service to enhance their dining experience
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Take accurate food and drink orders, utilizing OpenTable or similar reservation and ordering platforms when applicable
• Upsell menu items to maximize sales and promote specials to guests
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bar and dining spaces
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Experience with food handling, basic math for cash handling, and guest relations
• Previous host/hostess or bartending experience preferred; culinary or kitchen experience is a bonus
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required
