SHARKpreneur Brand Media Intern (Social Media & Content Creator)

Are you passionate about social media, reels, entrepreneurship, and creating content that actually connects with people?

SHARKpreneur and its growing family of brands are looking for a creative and ambitious Brand Media Intern to help build an organic social media presence focused on entrepreneurship, Main Street business owners, storytelling, events, and behind-the-scenes brand content.

This is not a traditional corporate internship.

This is an opportunity to help document and grow an emerging Florida entrepreneurial brand through creative storytelling, video content, interviews, and social media engagement.

You’ll work directly alongside founder Gerard Perillo helping create social media reels, entrepreneur interviews, event coverage, and short-form video content designed to grow the SHARKpreneur brand organically across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

A major focus of this role will be capturing authentic “Main Street” moments — interviewing business owners, entrepreneurs, and community leaders during summer events, networking opportunities, business meetings, and live experiences throughout Florida.

This role is ideal for someone who:

• Loves creating reels and short-form content
• Understands social media trends and storytelling
• Wants hands-on experience helping build a real brand
• Is comfortable filming people and capturing authentic moments
• Wants to grow creatively and professionally alongside an entrepreneurial company
• Has social media pages, content samples, reels, TikToks, YouTube videos, or creative work they can share during the application process

What You’ll Do

• Film and edit Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and social media content
• Create organic content centered around entrepreneurship and Main Street storytelling
• Attend events and assist with entrepreneur and business owner interviews
• Capture behind-the-scenes footage during meetings, podcasts, events, and travel
• Help brainstorm reel concepts, hooks, and social media ideas
• Edit content using CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere, or similar platforms
• Assist in growing the SHARKpreneur social media presence organically
• Help document the launch and growth of a Florida-based entrepreneurial brand

What We’re Looking For

• Creative, motivated, and energetic personality
• Passion for content creation and social media
• Comfortable filming with iPhone and social media equipment
• Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and current social trends
• Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Canva, Premiere Pro, etc.)
• Strong communication skills and confidence around people
• Interest in entrepreneurship, branding, or storytelling

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
