Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Designer / CNC Fabricator with 2–3 years of experience in automotive metal fabrication, CNC cutting, and product development.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and fabricating custom automotive accessories such as:

- Vehicle drawer systems

- Molle panels

- Roof racks

- Mounting brackets

- Storage systems

- Off-road / overlanding accessories

This role is ideal for someone who can design, prototype, and fabricate complete sheet metal products from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design sheet metal products using AutoCAD 2D/3D and preferably SolidWorks / Fusion 360

- Prepare production-ready files for CNC Laser Cutting

- Develop DXF files, bend drawings, and fabrication details

- Create and improve automotive accessories such as:

- Drawer systems

- Molle panels

- Brackets

- Mounting systems

- Storage solutions

- Understand and apply:

- Bend allowance

- Tolerances

- Material selection

- Assembly fitment

- Perform and supervise:

- CNC cutting

- Bending

- Welding

- Assembly

- Build prototypes and improve designs based on testing

- Work closely with production team to ensure accurate fabrication

- Optimize designs for manufacturing, strength, and cost efficiency

Requirements:

- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in:

- Sheet metal design

- CNC laser cutting

- Automotive fabrication

- Strong knowledge of:

- AutoCAD 2D / 3D

- DXF preparation

- Sheet metal fabrication

- CNC Laser machines

- Good understanding of:

- MIG welding

- Sheet metal bending

- Assembly and fitment

- Experience in designing automotive / off-road accessories is a strong advantage

- Knowledge of SolidWorks / Fusion 360 is highly preferred

- Ability to create practical designs ready for fabrication

- Hands-on fabrication mindset (not only office design)

- Problem-solving and prototype development skills

To be discussed based on experience and skill level.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
