Position: Die & Mold Repairing Expert – Sheet Metal

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out repairing, fitting, and preventive maintenance of sheet metal dies and molds.
• Troubleshoot and resolve die/mold issues to minimize production downtime.
• Ensure all dies and molds meet quality and ISO standards.
• Maintain records of repairs and modifications.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• Deep understanding of Sheet Metal Dies & Molds, including:
• Progressive dies, compound dies, blanking & piercing dies.
• Punch & die alignment, clearances, and tolerances.
• Die setting and press operation basics.
• Knowledge of heat treatment, hardness & wear properties of tooling steel.
• Welding, grinding, machining and polishing for die/mold repairs.
• Safety practices in die & mold handling.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
