Position Type: Full-time on-site, Regular

Job Location: 10100 Trumbull Ave., Albuquerque, NM 87123

Hours: Monday thru Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm

General Summary:

Responsible to supervise project site and area field activities of multiple trade groups related to project status, schedule, resources, and safety. Accountable to ensure complete internal and external customer satisfaction. The Superintendent is responsible to determine resource allocations between projects, as required to ensure overall construction schedules, specifications, and budget requirements are achieved.

Education and Experience:

Minimum 7 years construction trade experience

Minimum 5 years field supervisory experience is required

Architectural and structural trade experience is desirable

Working knowledge of construction disciplines and union agreements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Strong organization, multi-tasking, leadership and decision-making ability

Ability to supervise and evaluate employee performance

Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications and progress schedules

Working knowledge of OSHA requirements

Intimate knowledge of job costing and budgeting

Construction contract knowledge

Ability to work well and positively influence others

Ability to develop teams

Effective communication skills

Physical Requirements/Travel:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently inspect operational areas and projects and may be exposed to ongoing construction and various weather conditions. Employee occasionally walks on level and uneven surfaces as well as occasionally ascends and descend stairs and/or ladders at project sites. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud.

In this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is occasionally a sedentary role; some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. The employee must also regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area may be expected.
