SHES Officer (Oil and Gas)

Job Summary- SHES OFFICER

We are looking for a SHES Officer to support Safety, Health, Environment & Security activities at our project site in Qatar. The role involves monitoring site operations and ensuring compliance with company, client, and regulatory SHES requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing SHES policies and safe work practices
• Conduct site inspections, observations, and toolbox talks
• Support monitoring of high‑risk activities (lifting, hot work, WAH, confined space, SIMOPS)
• Assist with PTW and LOTO compliance
• Report hazards, unsafe acts, and support risk assessments
• Help with incident and near‑miss reporting
• Monitor occupational health conditions (heat stress, noise, etc.)
• Maintain SHES logs, checklists, and documentation
• Support safety inductions and awareness sessions

Requirements

• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent (mandatory)
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Safety/Engineering (preferred)
• 3–5 years SHES/HSE experience in oil & gas or construction
• Knowledge of PTW, LOTO, risk assessments, and ISO standards
