Overview

We need an experienced shift leader in the food industry who can support necessary functions of managing day to day operations in order to ensure the smooth functioning of the restaurant. Only apply if you have experience in managing people and operations.

This position is for an experienced Shift Leader to lead our team in a dynamic food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for culinary excellence, ensuring that our operations run smoothly while delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily activities, fostering a positive team culture, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Duties

• Oversee daily operations of the food service establishment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Lead and mentor team members, providing guidance on best practices in food handling and customer service.
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste to optimize food management.
• Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance their skills in culinary techniques and customer interaction.
• Supervise staff performance, conducting regular evaluations and providing constructive feedback.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service management or as an Assistant Manager with a focus on culinary operations.
• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of effective team management.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations within the industry.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.50 per hour
