Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shipping, Receiving & Driver to support daily operations. This role is responsible for picking up and delivering product, preparing shipments, receiving materials, and maintaining an organized work environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
General Responsibilities
- Prepare and package finished goods according to company and regulatory standards
- Label shipments accurately with all necessary documentation and tracking information.
- Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Pick up and deliver product using a company vehicle
- Maintain detailed shipping records and update inventory management systems.
- Inspect outgoing shipments for quality assurance and compliance with safety protocols.
- Receive, inspect, and manage incoming materials
- Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Identify and resolve any issues related to shipping delays, damaged goods, or documentation errors.
- Operate a forklift and wave lift safely
- Maintain inventory of shipping and warehouse supplies
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Perform additional duties as needed
Job Requirements:
- Valid CA Drivers’ License and maintain a good driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Basic to good computer skills
- Experience in a shipping or warehouse environment, preferably within manufacturing.
- Basic knowledge of shipping procedures and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent lifting, standing, and moving throughout the workday
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with inventory management software and shipping logistics systems.
- Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse machinery.
- Experience working with domestic and international shipping regulations.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with multiple departments and external partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
