Duties

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately using order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols, utilizing forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks as needed.
• Maintain organized stock areas through stocking, inventory counts, and cycle counts to support effective warehouse distribution.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track inventory movements, update records, and manage order fulfillment processes.
• Ensure proper packaging of products for shipment to prevent damage during transit while complying with shipping standards.
• Assist with warehouse organization by stocking shelves, managing order picking tasks, and supporting overall warehouse distribution activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in shipping & receiving operations.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and basic math skills for inventory calculations.
• Strong understanding of order fulfillment processes including picking & packing, order picking, and load & unload procedures.
• Ability to operate packaging equipment and assist with order picker tasks efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
