JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective : Shipping parcel. Making sure all orders that are received through the order department, web, Amazon, or E-bay ship out as soon as possible with quality and accuracy.

Essential Functions

1. Understanding NAV and printing orders

2. understanding of Freight BOL and requirements

3. Operating UPS and third party software

4. Scheduling pickups and returns

5. Posting and printing orders to NAV

6. other tasks as assigned to promote a teamwork environment

Supervisory Responsibility

Work Environment

Warehouse hazards, Forklift traffic, occasionally lifting of 60 lbs. Computer work, operating shipping software and working in a changing climate.

Physical Demands

FINGER DEXTERITY: Using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers together.

TALKING: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately or quickly.

AVERAGE HEARING: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.

REPETITIVE MOTIONS: Movements frequently and regularly using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers and use of legs and back for lifting

AVERAGE VISUAL ABILITIES: Average, ordinary acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery or forklifts

PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Standing/walking on cement 8+ hours a day; Exerts up to 50 lbs of force regularly.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 5:00

Travel

No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year factory-related experience
• Training in general safety,
