Position Title: Shipping Clerk

Location: Grandview, MO

Reports To: Shift Supervisor

FLSA Status: Salary Non-Exempt

Job Summary:

To ensure proper storage, receiving, shipping, handling and storage of raw materials, and finished goods.

Responsibilities:

• Timely staging, verification, shipping documents, and customer correspondence for finished goods shipments to customers.
• Locate finished goods, raw materials, and packaging to warehouse locations specified by shipping supervisor.
• Safeguard inventory from loss or damage.
• Housekeeping - ensure that all areas of the warehouse are neat and orderly.
• Receiving of incoming material, components, packaging, etc.
• Staging of raw material to the staging area location.
• Physical inventory counts as needed.
• Other duties as required.
• Knowledge and understanding of work instructions

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• 2-3 years of shipping and receiving
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of workforce
