Shipping Coordinator

Brief Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipping operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy, and maintaining strong communication with transporters and customers.

Responsibilities

1. Coordinate daily shipping and logistics operation plans with transporters.
2. Obtain shipment documents through the ERP system.
3. Maintain daily shipping activity reports.
4. Communicate with customers to understand preferred unloading times.
5. Follow up with transporters to ensure on-time delivery.
6. Identify and resolve shipping errors with customers and transporters.
7. Review orders against available inventory.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and regulations.
9. Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors within scope of expertise.
10. Follow health and safety regulations to prevent accidents or workplace injuries.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Professional Certification: NEBOSH IGC or ISO 45001 (preferred).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and logistics processes.
