Shipping Executive

A Shipping Executive is responsible for managing the logistics and shipment processes of products, ensuring efficient and timely delivery while complying with relevant regulations. Their key duties include overseeing daily shipping operations, coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments, and preparing essential shipping documentation such as bills of lading, packing lists, and export/import papers. They monitor shipment schedules, track goods, handle customer inquiries related to shipments, and manage relationships with freight forwarders and shipping agents. Additionally, they maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory and ensure compliance with local and international shipping laws. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in logistics software and MS Office. Typically, a Shipping Executive holds a bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, with at least three years of experience in shipping or logistics.
