​About Us

Ahmad habib transport is a growing commercial transportation and logistics provider. As we expand our fleet services, we are launching a new heavy-transport segment dedicated to cross-border GCC logistics. We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Transport Manager to lead our new division of 20-ton trailers equipped with gensets for frozen and refrigerated cargo.

​The Role

You will be responsible for building, overseeing, and optimizing our long-haul cold chain operations across the GCC. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in managing heavy fleets (20-ton+), a strong understanding of temperature-sensitive freight, and proven experience navigating cross-border customs and regulations.

​Key Responsibilities

• ​Fleet Management: Oversee the daily operations, scheduling, and maintenance of a fleet of 20-ton trailers, ensuring all prime movers, trailers, and genset/cooling units are in peak operational condition.
• ​Cold Chain Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to temperature-control protocols for chilling and freezing items. Monitor genset performance and coordinate rapid response for any equipment malfunctions in transit.
• ​Cross-Border Operations: Manage GCC route planning, border crossings, and customs clearance procedures. Ensure all documentation (manifests, transit permits, border passes) is accurate and compliant with regional laws.
• ​Driver Management: Recruit, train, and manage heavy-vehicle drivers. Ensure compliance with GCC driving regulations, fatigue management, and safety protocols.
• ​Client & Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients requiring heavy refrigerated transport. Coordinate with maintenance vendors, port authorities, and border officials.
• ​Cost Optimization: Track and optimize fuel consumption, route efficiency, and toll/border fees to maximize the profitability of the new 20-ton segment.

​Qualifications

• ​Experience: 5+ years of experience in fleet management or logistics operations within the GCC, with a mandatory background in heavy transport (20-ton trailers or similar).
• ​Specialized Knowledge: Proven experience handling cold chain logistics, refrigerated transport, and active genset operations.
• ​Regulatory Expertise: Strong understanding of GCC border clearance procedures, customs documentation, and regional transport laws.
• ​Skills: Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle on-the-road emergencies (e.g., breakdown or cooling failure).
• ​Languages: Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu is highly advantageous for coordinating with drivers and border personnel.
