Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Inventory Coordinator to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for pulling parts from inventory, preparing and packaging orders, processing shipments through UPS, and maintaining accurate records in our ERP system. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and pull parts from inventory based on sales and service orders
- Package parts securely to prevent damage during transit
- Process domestic and international shipments (including Canada) using UPS software
- Print and include packing slips with all outgoing shipments
- Enter, update, and track orders in the ERP system so the team has real-time visibility
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation and tracking information
- Follow a scheduled inventory count program with a goal of counting the entire warehouse monthly
- Assist with inventory accuracy and organization
- Order and maintain shipping supplies such as boxes, bubble wrap, tape, and related materials
- Keep shipping and warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe
- Support other warehouse tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse, shipping, or inventory experience preferred
- Comfortable using computers, ERP systems, and shipping software (UPS experience a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to lift and move packages (up to [insert weight if applicable])
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Basic understanding of international shipping is a plus
- Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
Work Environment
- Active, hands-on warehouse activity: Receiving parts and materials, staging components for shipment, and coordinating outgoing freight.
- Fast-paced, physical work: involves lifting, moving inventory, coordinating with logistics carriers, and keeping areas organized and safe
- Indoor manufacturing/warehouse conditions: Work is indoors but not climate controlled and can involve variable temperature areas especially near docks or on production floors.
- Physical requirements: Requires standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 80 lbs.
- Forklift: must be able to pass forklift certification
