Shipping-Packing Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping-Packing Associate to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently preparing orders for shipment, ensuring accurate packing, labeling, and documentation. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth warehouse operations, support timely order fulfillment, and contribute to exceptional customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately using RF scanners and order picker equipment to ensure correct items are shipped.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and load/unload trucks safely to move stock within the warehouse.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and software to track inventory levels, update order statuses, and manage stock movements effectively.
• Prepare shipments by packaging products securely according to company standards, including labeling and documentation for shipping & receiving processes.
• Assist with inventory stocking, replenishment, and cycle counts to maintain optimal stock levels and support warehouse distribution efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members on order fulfillment tasks, ensuring timely processing of e-commerce orders and other customer requests.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and operational procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 is highly desirable.
• Valid forklift certification; experience operating reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment preferred.
• Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during packing and inventory tasks.
• Familiarity with order picking & packing processes within e-commerce or distribution centers.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and unload trucks efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
• Warehouse experience involving stock management, order fulfillment, and warehouse distribution is a plus.
