Shipping & Receiving Attendant

This position requires a high level of organizational skills and attention to detail. Storeroom attendant will be responsible for auditing consumable supplies in vending machines and reordering as needed. Storeroom attendant will receive material from shipping companies and compare the items received against the associated purchase orders for accuracy. Attendant will label the material and move items to the correct locations in the laydown yard. Attendant will prepare outgoing shipments for the local parcel companies.

Essential Functions:

• Perform duties safely in accordance with PSI safety standards
• Assign PO's for consumable supplies.
• Unload and receive material.
• Compare received material against associated PO for accuracy.
• Enter received material in our system to notify management of its arrival.
• Label and move material to the laydown yard.
• Prepare outgoing packages and give UPS, FedEx, etc.

Competencies:

• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Email)
• Ability to learn to operate a fork truck.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to review ship tickets against the PO to identify any discrepancies.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member with other personnel.

Education and Experience:

• Experience in operating a fork truck preferred.
• Experience with working with basic computer software.

Additional Eligibility Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License or State ID
• Able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate $17-$22/hr.(exact rate to be determined based on experience and qualifications)
