POSITION OVERVIEW
The Shipping & Receiving Associate supports daily warehouse operations by receiving inbound purchase orders, packing and shipping outbound small-parcel orders, and moving materials between the shipping dock and warehouse locations. This is a hands-on, flexible role that requires attention to detail, physical activity, and strong coordination with warehouse, operations, and purchasing teams. Shipping and Receiving is a critical execution point between Republic’s suppliers, internal operations, and customers. This role ensures inbound materials are received accurately and efficiently, and outbound shipments—particularly small-parcel orders—are packed, labeled, and shipped correctly and on time. As Republic continues to scale its manufacturing and aftermarket business, this position plays a direct role in inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, and overall customer satisfaction. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must infrequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and less infrequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Work Environment:
This position is designed to be performed on-site in Dallas, Texas, and will be performed in both climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled environments. The position requires a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday – specific working hours are to be established in coordination with the position’s direct manager. The person in this role will be infrequently required to maintain a flexible work schedule to achieve performance objectives and may need to accommodate performance-related activities across different working shifts and time zones if necessary.
