Shop QC Inspector (Fabrication Shop)
Pay: $36.00 – $38.00 per hour

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Shop QC Inspector to support quality control efforts in a fast-paced piping fabrication environment. This role is critical to maintaining compliance, ensuring weld integrity, and supporting full traceability throughout production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform 100% Visual Inspection (VT) of all welds
• Oversee and assist with hydrostatic testing and test documentation (test packs)
• Coordinate all NDE activities (RT, etc.) – 100% inspection scope
• Prepare shooter sheets for X-ray technicians
• Conduct final inspection of completed spool assemblies
• Maintain and verify traceability, including:
• Heat number tracking
• Weld mapping
• Material documentation

Work Environment:

• Primarily shop-based (floor presence predominantly)
• Occasional office support as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of inspection experience in a fabrication or piping environment
• CWI preferred, but not required
• Strong understanding of weld quality, codes, and inspection processes
• Ability to manage documentation and coordinate with production and NDE teams.

Pay: $36.00 - $38.00 per hour
