Shop Hand - Custom Woodworking

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shop Hand for our Custom Woodworking shop. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for woodworking and possess a diverse skill set in various carpentry techniques. The Shop Hand will assist in the fabrication and assembly of custom wood products, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship while adhering to project specifications and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the construction and assembly of custom woodworking projects, including cabinetry, furniture, and fixtures.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
• Support heavy lifting tasks associated with material handling and project execution.
• Collaborate with team members on-site to maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in woodworking or related fields such as construction or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with various carpentry methods including trim work, frame carpentry, fixture installation, and cabinet making.
• Capability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job.
• Previous experience on construction sites is preferred; knowledge of safety regulations is essential.
