Shop Help

Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Shop Help and become a vital part of our roofing company. In this role, you will support daily shop operations by assisting with material handling, deliveries, shop cleaning, and equipment setup.

Duties

• Assist metal fabrication technician in various tasks for upcoming jobs
• Operating a forklift
• Receiving deliveries at shop and jobsites
• Shop cleaning and upkeep
• Maintaining yard and laydown area upkeep
• Restocking material brought back from jobs

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts safely.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools for assembly or maintenance tasks.
• Warehouse experience including inventory and material handling is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills and a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards.
• Must be able to pass a background and drug test
• Must have a valid driver's licsense

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
