Shop Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Shop Manager to lead our shop operations. In this role, you will oversee daily shop activities, lead team members, and manage schedule and planning. Your leadership will drive sales growth, facilitate quality, and execution of projects on time. We are a custom fabrication shop that works with various metallurgy. Knowledge in shop equipment (shear, break, water-jet, etc.) is a must. Position includes bonus opportunities up to 25% salary.

Responsibilities/Requirements

• Lead and supervise all shop employees.
• Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to foster a motivated and skilled workforce.
• Manage scheduling and shift assignments to optimize shop coverage and efficiency.
• Be able to quote new work.
• Ability to read, develop and assist in fabrication drawings is a must.
• Customer relationship/communication skills are a must.
• Be able to work in Microsoft programs (word, excel, etc.) to generate bid documents.
• Develop young/apprenticeship talent.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
