Shop Mechanic / Equipment Operator

Amazing opportunity to work for an established Twin Cities Excavation Company.

Position will have a variety of responsibilities to include assisting lead mechanic on repairs and maintenance of equipment as well as working, when needed, on project sites as an operator and/or laborer.

Brief Job Description:
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an mechanic

- Experience with Skid Loaders

- Must have a Class A / CDL license / Health card

- Must be drug free

Preferred Skills:
- Must be self-motivated
- Ability to solve issues in an independent and team environment
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Must have a good judgment for technical projects
- Able to operate common hand tools, grinders, drill press, welder, paint sprayer, pressure washer, and air tools.

- Able to work on project sites as a laborer and equipment operator

Reporting Relationships:
Mechanic will report to the Lead Mechanic

Summary

As a Shop Mechanic / Equipment Operator, you will be essential in maintaining and operating various equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your role will leverage your mechanic experience and CDL A license to perform repairs, as well as a varity of working at job sites on a crew doing labor and operating equipment. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
