Shop Technician

Job Overview:

Provides automotive engine technical knowledge and skill sets to produce daily productivity in the service / manufacturing shop.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· He or She must always be able to provide service and solutions for manufacturing problems.

· Assist with receiving and shipping of products

· Assist with processing, cleaning, and inspection of products

· Assist with any pre and / or postproduction of products

· Assist with “Repair to Parts” manufacturing

· Assist and or complete any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· He or she must have a High School diploma or GED

· Must have at least 3 years’ experience working on automotive engines

· Must have at least 3 years’ experience in automotive trade and / or recycling

· Must be able to communicate and work well with others

· Must be able to use computers and technology with latest automotive software

· Must be able to lift more than 25lbs and work on his or her feet for extended periods of time

Must be able to work minimum average of 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday

Final candidates will require background check and drug screen
