Shop & Warehouse Assistant (with Automotive/Mechanic Background)

We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Shop & Warehouse Assistant who knows their way around auto parts and tools to join our team.

Position Overview

This is a dual-role position perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining a spotless environment and possesses a strong understanding of automotive components. You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of our retail shop floor, as well as managing, organizing, and maintaining the efficiency of our spare parts warehouse.

Because you will be handling specialized automotive inventory, a solid background in auto parts or mechanics is strictly required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Facility Cleanliness & Maintenance (Shop & Warehouse)

• Maintain pristine cleanliness on the retail shop floor, customer areas, and restrooms.
• Ensure the warehouse floors, aisles, and packing stations are kept clean, safe, and free of debris or hazards.
• Safely handle and dispose of automotive fluids, grease, or chemical spills according to safety regulations.
• Empty trash bins and ensure a sanitized working environment daily.

2. Warehouse & Inventory Support

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and unboxing incoming shipments of auto spare parts.
• Organize, sort, and shelve parts in the warehouse according to our inventory system.
• Utilize your automotive knowledge to quickly identify, categorize, and cross-reference parts (e.g., engines, brakes, suspension, electrical components).
• Conduct regular stock counts and help track inventory discrepancies.
• Prepare and pack parts for customer orders or delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of [1-2] years of experience working in an auto spare parts shop, mechanic garage, or automotive warehouse.
• Organization Skills: A keen eye for detail with a knack for keeping spaces organized and tidy.
• Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Language: Good communication skills
• A stable, supportive team environment.
